Your
heel is the first thing that touches the ground when
you start to walk. A shot of pain stabbing at that
part of your foot with every step can cause severe
discomfort and disturb your concentration.
Some describe the pain as a "stone bruise." It
is usually worse in the morning or after you've been
resting. If you've endured it for a while, it may
have progressed to the point that t hurts even when
you're off your feet.
Steven D. Meinhold, D.P.M., and Elizabeth Klawitter,
D.P.M. have researched various treatments for acute
heel pain. Surprisingly, many outpatients had heel
spurs on both feet but only one hurt. Indicating that
the heel spur might be the result of the problem rather
than the source.
Now there is an advanced new treatment to alleviate
heel pain that may help you save time and money. It's
called Instep Plantar Fasciotomy. The procedure is
an outpatient treatment that usually requires little
pain medication and normally allows you to return
to regular shoes within one to two weeks.
Instep Plantar Fasciotomy is a great breakthrough
for this condition. This new procedure allows release
of the medical and central bands of the painful fascia
through one very tiny incision.
More than 90 percent of the patients that undergo
this procedure experience success. Amateur athletes,
bank tellers, nurses and doctors are getting rid of
constant pain in their heels. Instep Plantar Fasciotomy
is the perfect procedure for those patients with a
busy life-style and where conservative treatment's
have failed.
